What are the opportunities and challenges in participatory work? To what extent can experiences in collaboration with children and young people serve as a model for shaping societal coexistence? What do institutions and the independent scene need to be able to work participatively?

In the international context, the practice of performing arts for young audiences has been engaging with the topic of "participation" for years. Adolescents should experience democracy in their own environment by co-designing living spaces such as school, family, and places of cultural participation. ASSITEJ Schweiz/Suisse/Svizzera/Svizra has invited international best practice examples. The event is a collaboration with the Geheime Dramaturgische Gesellschaft and provides suggestions and impulses for further exchange.
